Great Educator Mentor (GEM) - Nomination Deadline

The prestigious Great Educator Mentor (GEM) Award is presented annually to one adult from each school building, as well as several district recipients, in recognition for their support of students in the Westerville City Schools. Nominations accepted online only beginning January 8th. bit.ly/NominateGEM2024

Tell us who is a GEM in Mark Twain Elementary or in the district by nominating an adult or business whose work has positively impacted Westerville students during the period of February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025. Candidates may include:

Community volunteers who help out in our schools

Parents, Grandparents, friends and family who volunteer in schools

Teachers, Principals, Secretaries, Nurses, Custodians, Aides, any employee of the Westerville school district.

A business in the community that has made an impact for our Terry Gordon Business Award
